It is that time of the month when Funky Friday takes place!! The organisers have another special night and look forward to seeing everyone at Newport Navy Club, Bellman’s Yard, High Street, Newport TF10 7AJ between 7pm and 9pm on Friday 17th July. The theme is “Summer Beech Party 90’s Disco” so people can request their best summer dance songs from DJ Charlie!
What to wear! Dress in your favourite cool summer clothes (Cool in style & cool in weight/thickness!)
- There will be a little SUMMER RAFFLE for the raffle lovers! So please bring a few extra coins if you can – thank you.
- The ladies from Safe Places Shropshire will be in the house again – giving you all the information on this great scheme for vulnerable people.
- They will also a visitor with some good news for the Funky Friday bank balance!
- The Ice Cream Van will be there too to help people cool off!
- No pre-booked tickets are necessary—just show up and pay at the door.
- Please don’t arrive too early as we might not be ready to let you in. We don’t want anyone waiting outside in the heat, rain or cold.
How much does it cost?
- If possible, please have your £4 cash payment ready when you arrive. It would be helpful if you could bring the exact amount! Young people aged 15+ with additional needs: £4–> Siblings/friends: £4–> Parents/carers: Free
So what is Funky Friday? It is the ultimate dance party for young adults aged 15+ with additional needs, along with their parents, carers, family, and friends. There is no need to book in advance – just show up and join in the fun! Entry is only £4 (cash only) for young people with additional needs and their siblings or friends. Parents and carers are FREE!
