Harlescott Grange Community Hub is the centre built by the late Eileen Sandford MBE. Until recently, the hub was run by 3 local residents. It is now run by 4All Foundation oversee many community activities at a number of community centres and schools in Shropshire.
The 4All Foundation was founded by the Marches Academy Trust (MMAT) as a community organisation in 2022, with the aim of supporting those living in the communities where the Trust’s schools are located. It became an independent registered charity (CIO) in June 2023
Halescott Grange Community Hub is in the process of refurbishment to make it more useful and inviting. The aim is to be a hub in the heart of the Harlescott community again. Activities are taking place while the rooms are refurnished etc. They have a new computer suite and games room (including board games) These were recently been redecorated and re-stocked giving a warm inviting atmosphere for users.
The hub hosts an up to date kitchen.
Each Tuesday between 2pm and 3pm there is a SIM PROGRAMME for people over the age of 18 with Mental Health Illness. This programme is a collaborative effort of professional organisations to address the physical and mental health needs of adults with severe mental health illness (SMI)
Each Friday between 9.45am and 11am in partnership with Shrewsbury Food Hub they hold a Food Share.
Each evening various sporting activities take place including boxing and Jitsu.
