Each year Shrewsbury Interfaith Forum organise a Multicultural fun day. This year it will take place at the United Reformed Church, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY3 7BJ from 11am until 3pm . This event gives opportunity for many different communities to come together, have fun and learn about different cultures. This annual event is one that our volunteers at Safe Places Shropshire like to take part in but due to holidays we will not be there this year. There is no entry fee.
So what is happening on the day?
- You will have opportunity to see Bhangra, Chinese and Malayalam dancers and you may have the opportunity to have a go
- Hena
- Face-Painting
- Bangladeshi Food
- There is a faith room with lots of information and opportunity for you to ask questions
- Various organisations like West Mercia Police, Shropshire Fire and Rescue will have stands.
- Tea and cakes will be available too and there will be many activities
This is a day for everyone to enjoy. Weather providing activities will take place both indoor and outdoor. There is ramped access and incide there is a lift to access the main hall. We wish everyone an enjoyable day.
