Safe Places Shropshire volunteers wish to thank all our Safe Places in Shropshire for being part of our community initiative. We extend our thanks to those who donate in anyway to our charity.
This year we have been very busy attending many events in the community that are an important to our scheme. We have also joined in with events i.e. craft fayres, other events that have brought in funding, conferences as well as giving presentations about our work.
Many readers will be aware, earlier this year we were awarded some money from Awards for All, enabling us to purchase laptops, printers and other essential equipment needed to operate Safe Places Shropshire. The funding includes working on a project around the night-time economy as we want to have Safe Places available for people to use when out for the evening.
People will soon see us out and about wearing our new Safe Places Shropshire fleeces.
